Is the free estimate really free?
Yes. No signup, no email, no card: enter your project and the full trade-by-trade breakdown is there on screen. Saving it as a PDF needs an account, which is free to create.
Is the first quote check really free?
Yes, and no card is needed. Signed in, you get one free check on your account. Anonymously, you get one free check per browser session. After that a project is £10, paid once.
What do I get for £10?
The comparison between the quotes on your project: every quote on the same basis, what each one leaves out, where the scope differs, the regulation traps, and the questions to ask each builder before you sign. That is how you see which quote is genuinely cheaper. You also get the full report, the PDF and the letter to send your builder. One payment covers the whole project.
Do I need a subscription?
No. £10 is a one-off payment per project, and the comparison is part of it rather than an add-on. Pay again only when you have a new project to analyse.
How is this different from other cost calculators?
